Our Principal

Dr. Patty Hernandez brings over two decades of dedicated educational experience to Rock University High School. She began her career as a Family and Consumer Science teacher in Kenosha, Wisconsin, before earning her Master’s Degree in Education from Cardinal Stritch University in 2005. Driven by a commitment to expanding student opportunities, she completed her Career and Technical Education Coordinator certification from UW-Stout in 2014 and earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in 2020.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hernandez has served in key leadership roles focused on student success, including District College and Career Readiness Specialist (2016–2021), Principal of TAGOS Leadership Academy (2018–2021), and Principal of ARISE Virtual Academy (2022–2024). Proudly serving as Principal of Rock University High School since 2023, Dr. Hernandez is a passionate youth and community advocate who is dedicated to helping every student discover the unique passion that fuels their lifelong purpose.
